Prior to launching Ferris Capital, David served as Senior Vice President of Investments at Merrill Lynch for more than ten years. At Merrill Lynch, David managed capital for more than 65 institutions and affluent families. Previously, he was a principal in the Thomas Weisel Partners Private Client Department, where he helped found the Private Client Group in Boston. He began his career in New York City while working with the Investment Services Group of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. David earned a B.A. in political science from Boston College in 1993 and a J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law in 1996. He is currently a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association. David is an active member and benefactor of the Loyola University community. He is a member of Loyola’s College of Law Visiting Committee. He has also been a member of the Loyola Board of Trustees since 2001, and in 2002, he established the Ferris Distinguished Professorship at Loyola’s College of Law.
