Brian provides general counsel to Ferris Capital and its wealth-management staff. He brings to Ferris Capital a seasoned background in estate planning and administration, taxation, insurance, estate- and other property-related litigation, domestic relations law, business entity formation and compliance, and real estate transactions. He advises the Ferris Capital team regarding compliance and risk management as well as custom strategies for the firm’s clients.
Prior to joining Ferris Capital, Brian worked as a civil litigator at a law firm in Boston, served as an assistant general counsel for Arlington County, Virginia, and was a partner in a general-practice law firm in Virginia. He is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and Virginia.
Brian holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University.
